We are selling hand made face masks crafted by Polish Canadian artisan seamstress Ada Kalinowski, who owns and runs Workshop Idyl and Under The High Wheel restaurant in Edmonton.
All masks are 100% cotton, Polish fabrics.
White cotton fabric with rose and floral pattern.
Black cotton fabric with multi coloured floral and rooster pattern.
The recommended donation for each face mask is $30 CAD.
However, in an effort to make this fundraiser financially accessible to more people, every individual who donates over $20 CAD will receive a face mask.
If you would like to donate, but do not wish to receive a face mask please indicate this in form.
On average we expect the sale of each face mask to be broken down as follows:
$20 CAD paid to artisan for labour, fabric, materials and shipping within Canada,*
$10 CAD paid to the charity Trans-Fuzja.**
*For shipping to USA please add $5 CAD.
**Based on $30 CAD recommended donation.
All payments to be made via money transfer to email@example.com. Please ensure your password is easily discernable, and that you include your first and last name in the transfer notes.
There is a cap of 100 face masks to be sold (approx. 30 white "Róża", 70 black "Kogut"). Face masks will be sold on a first come first served basis. Any order made after the face masks have sold-out will be cancelled, and the buyer will be notified. No payments will be processed for sold-out orders.
Processing and shipping is expected to take up to three (3) weeks in Canada.
All proceeds will be donated to Trans-Fuzja. Trans-Fuzja Foundation is the first trans organization in Poland. Trans-Fuzja was founded in 2008 with a goal of supporting transgender (including non-binary and gender nonconforming) people in Poland and improving their social situation, legal and living conditions.
